ADDITIONS:
In addition to previous additions in Build Three:
-Put in new sounds for collecting and using keycards.
-Fixed several issues with Time Traveler “sticking” to vertical terrain, including the following:
àSticking to Sweeper Arm tower
àThe cavern walls in Area 4, along with several areas in Area 4 that are far down, which the player could land on safely if he fell (but would get stuck in the process); these areas now cause the player to die on impact due to the long fall.
àThe back wall of Area 5, where the second keycard is.
àThe side walls near the start of platforms in Area 1
àA few other minor areas in Area 3 and 5 to prevent climbing the sides of the cavern walls.
-Lowered the bridge (Area 3) slightly to make it more visible to players.
àAlso added a few more light posts to make the bridge more visible.
-Re-baked the level’s lights to improve efficiency and frame rate (due to the nature of this level having no directional light, no shadows seem to be possible)
-Reduced Sweeper Arm Speed to make passing it easier.
-Adjusted a few platforms throughout the level to make them easier to jump to.
PLANNED ADDITIONS:
-Modify Third Person Controller Functions to prevent certain errors (Walking on the sides of terrain walls) (May not be possible, so looking for work-around) (In progress)
-Find a way to adjust the location of the text hints (preferably above the character’s head) (Investigating)
-General bugfixing (In Progress)
-Implement Time Traveler character model (Low Priority, due to lack of resources)
-Additional polishes to terrain (more stalagmites, more viewable areas, etc.) (Low Priority)
-Final Decorations (Low Priority)
